WEST SEATTLE PERFORMING ARTS STUDENT CONDUCT POLICY
WEST SEATTLE PERFORMING ARTS is an environment open to students that are creative, focused, independent artists of all ages. We expect that all students will take initiative both in and outside of the classroom to be focused and kind in how they learn and interact with fellow classmates, staff and faculty. We encourage open discussion with students and faculty at the appropriate time outside of class and transitional periods. Parents and students seeking a highly recreational environment should consider this program carefully before applying.. Students are expected to arrive to all classes on time and attendance is critical. If an emergency presents itself and the student will be absent or tardy, he or she is requested to call in promptly to our reception and attendance desk at 206- 935-3777. or email admin@westseattlepeformingarts.org
WSPA maintains a zero tolerance policy for all illegal activities, including possession or use of drugs or alcohol, weapons, inappropriate language, bullying or violence. , whether in or outside of the building. At the discretion of the Executive Artistic Director any student in violation of policies or otherwise creating an unsafe or unproductive climate may result in such sanctions as a warning or immediate dismissal from the program. WSPA is welcoming and to any and all persons regardless of their gender, sexual orientation, age ability or religious beliefs
West Seattle Performing ARTS TERMS OF LIABILITY
I understand that classes and activities in and outside of courses West Seattle Performing Arts can present a risk of injury to the participant. I understand that there is an inherent risk of injury that cannot be eliminated regardless of the care taken to avoid injury. I agree to assume that risk in order to participate in these activities. I acknowledge that the participant is in good health and does not have any history of a medical or physical condition that would place the participant at risk due to the participant’s medical or physical condition. I do hereby release and forever discharge West Seattle Performing Arts, their predecessors and successors, employees, agents and assigns, and all other persons, corporations, and entities from all claims, expenses, attorney fees, and causes of action or suits of any kind or nature associated with the participant’s involvement with Cornish classes and college activities
WEST SEATTLE PERFORMING ARTS PHOTOGRAPHY RELEASE
I grant WEST SEATTLE PERFORMING ARTS the right to take photographs of me/my student in connection with any and all programming. I authorize WEST SEATTLE PERFORMING ARTS and its assigns and transferees to copyright, use and publish the same in print and/or electronically. I agree that WEST SEATTLE PERFORMING ARTS may use such photographs with or without my name and for any lawful purpose, including for example such purposes as publicity, illustration, advertising, and web publication.
